Description
This page controls the production of award certificates and mailing lists. It is divided into two sections, one for use as part of the normal upload process and the second for the production of one-off certificates and mailing lists. In the CONFIGURE AWARDS part of the control panel there is a CONFIGURE AWARDS page. See this section for how to set up the certificates themselves. If certificates have been created then, as part of the normal upload process, the service will automatically produce the relevant certificates and mailing list for all uploaded inspections. These are produced as a pdf file of certificates and an excel spreadsheet for the mailing list. By clicking on the relevant symbol the file will be downloaded to your desktop. The mailing list file can be used as part of a standard mail merge for your own word documents such as letters to premises. Two sets of certificates/mailing lists are produced. The ALL INSPECTIONS pdf and excel spreadsheet contain as expected certificates and a mailing list for all inspections loaded. The NEW ONLY versions include only those inspections that are new and disregard inspections (only as far as certificates and mailing lists are concerned) that already exist. This feature is for authorities using an overlapping period to ensure that all inspections are included in their extraction reports from their back office systems.
