Food Hygiene Reporting and Analysis Service
The Scores on the Doors service now includes a reporting and analysis service for commercial organisations such as supermarkets, food premises suppliers, pub and restaurant chains.
Overview
The www.scoresonthedoors.org.uk web site is the largest of its type in the world containing the results of the official food hygiene inspections from over 120 councils and over 140,000 businesses. Reports can be created in real time using a variety of filters and selection criteria. The resulting reports are downloadable. The available information includes:
- Business name
- Contact details including postal address and tel. number
- Star rating
- Risk rating components
- Forecast date for next inspection
- Published right to replies, web address

Portfolios
The search facilities allow users to collect together any number of premises into portfolios. Any defined and saved reports can then be run against these portfolios as required. Portfolios can contain your own stock of premises but can also be used to monitor your competitors and selective representation of your markets. By entering your own unique identifier against each business, the report can be matched and merged with in-house reporting spreadsheets, graphs and further reports.
Food business login
If your local council has this feature switched on and has an authenticated email address for your business, then you are able to log in to the site and access your own confidential control panel. This enables you to do things like:
- Post a right to reply
- Upload a link to your web site
- Upload a picture of your business
- Access information on special offers, eg Discounted public liability insurance
- Print off a new copy of your certificate
- Download images for your own publicity materials
