The information on these pages are based on material that has been gathered by members of Reading Borough Council's Environmental Health Service in the course of their inspections. Inspections are carried out in accordance with the Food Safety Act 1990, Food Hygiene (England) Regulations 2006, European Community Regulations and the Food Standards Agency Code of Practice. The score given to a food business on the website has been based on the latest inspection carried out by the Council and as such it represents the situation as found by the Officers on the day of that inspection. Therefore the score may not be representative of the overall, long-term food hygiene standards of the premises and should not be relied on as a guide to food safety. This website is updated monthly, however food premises may only be inspected once in every 6-36 months as determined by applying the Food Standards Agency Code of Practice.
